What a perfect day to honor our seniors playing and cheering in their final home game as well as bless our field and track for years of competitions to come.
At noon today the Seton Catholic Football Field and Track were blessed by Auxiliary Bishop Daniel Meueggenborg. Surrounded by the Seton Athletes and Coaches a beautiful ceremony was held prior to today’s final home football game of the season.
Today we also honored our 10 senior athletes playing or cheering in their final home game of the year. Beginning with the blessing, Troy Owen and Sid Clark on the BBQ grills, Henri Moreau on the mic, and Seton football kicking off at 1:30 it was a perfect afternoon at Seton Catholic High School!
Five Senior Cheerleaders were honored today:
Maddie Moreau, Maddy Cole, Rachel Balsiger, Olivia Dorsey-O’Brien, and Britney Stover.
On behalf of all of Seton Athletics and the Seton community thank you girls for your commitment to cheer this year! You truly brought a “high school” atmosphere to our games. You truly are the “12th” man for our football team!
Our five senior football players honored today;
Jonathan Stell, Josh Vick, Noah Fields, Matthew Kent, and Carter Standridge.
Seton Catholic Football is back! Thank you boys for the commitment you have given to this team and this school. Nothing brings the school community together like high school football! Congrats on an amazing year.
Today our football team took the field against a tough 2A opponent Sehome High School. Our boys battled tough against a very big and talented opponent. Fighting injuries and being outsized at every position the Cougars fought through four tough quarters of football. Although the score did not fall in our favor there were many highlights throughout the game including a 70 yard touchdown pass to Taj Muhammad and a 30 yard touchdown pass to Mike Silvera.
The Cougs will get little rest as they take to the road for another tough opponent up north in Shorewood High School.
Thank you again to our Senior athletes for your commitment to Seton Catholic on and off the field! You all are truly a blessing to the Seton Community.
