Cougars News · Seton Boys Make It A Sweep At Home Over Stevenson

The Seton Catholic Varsity Boys Basketball Team came into tonights game knowing they were literally in a must win situation in league already. With a bad road loss still stinging from Friday Night the Cougs were all business tonight when they took the floor.

Seton has not defeated Stevenson in over two years and tonight was the perfect time to do it. The Cougs started out the game with a 19 point first quarter including 10 points from Matthew Kent and they never looked back.

Seton led from wire to wire and at one point in the game had a 23 point lead. Seton remained focus holding Stevenson to their lowest point totals of the year.

Matthew Kent scored 19 points to lead all scorers. Isaiah Parker added 11 and Hayden Miller doing his usual blue collar work underneath chipped in 10 points.

JV boys also took care of business leading wire to wire for a 80-61 victory.

The Boys will take to the floor again Friday Night in a league game up north at the always tough Castle Rock Rockets.

Go Cougs!
