Cougars News · Boys Soccer Beat The Heat And The Bulldogs With 4-0 Victory At Home

The Seton boys playing on a record breaking hot day and finally playing with a full 11 man team got their second home victory of the season!

Noah Fields got the scoring started in the 10th minute of the game when he found himself alone just inside the box on the right side of the goal. Field calmly put the ball in the back of the next by going far post and giving the Cougars the 1-0 lead.

The cougs dominated the rest of the half but couldn’t find the back of the net until the 37th minute when Blake Beckwith received a ball at mid field, took one touch then launched a rocket over the bulldog keeper scoring a goal from the 45 yard line! The Cougs finished the half up 2-0.

The second half was much like the first with Seton dominating most of the play but struggling to find the back of the net. With just over five minutes to play Henry Demsky took a beautiful cross in front of the net and headed the ball past the efforts of the Stevenson goalie and it was 3-0 Cougs. Seth Moore put the icing on the cake with just under two minutes to go as he made a run down the right side and slipped the ball into the corner of the net. Cougs win 4-0!

The Cougs will finish their home schedule Tuesday May 1st and they honor their Seinor players in their final high school home game against LaCenter.

Go Cougs!
