Cougars News · Seton Places Multiple Players on All League Lists!

The spring athletic season has been very kind to the Seton Catholic Athletes as multiple players have received recognition by being placed on the all league teams! In addition the Seton track team sent the most athletes to the state championships with 17 competitors heading to state at Eastern Washington University!

Being selected to all league is a great honor as it’s the opposing coaches that vote the athletes in. The Seton boys soccer team placed several players on the all league list:

  • Henry Demsky- 1st team forward
  • Jetzael Meza-Gonzalez- 1st team mid-field
  • Blake Beckwith- 1st team defender
  • Serafim Apostolou- 2nd team mid-field
  • Josh Frietag- 2nd team defender
  • Shameel Faiyaz- honorable mention goalie

Being a small school several of our athletes had to play baseball or softball at the public school in their residential district. That didn’t deter our athletes from making their mark on the season!

  • Alexandra Traffalis- Freshman- 2nd team all league Center field playing for Battle Ground Softball. Also a State Competitor!
  • Isaiah Parker- Junior- 2nd team all league short stop playing for Mt. View Baseball
  • Callie West- Junior- 1st team all league playing golf for Mt. View High School

Congrats to all of our athletes! We are very proud of you!

Go Cougs!
