Cougars News · Seton’s Isaiah Parker Recognized as One Of County’s Top Multi Sport Athletes

Seton Catholic “senior to be”  Isaiah Parker once again received recognition for his athletic accomplishments for the 2017/2018 school year. The Columbian News Paper recognized Parker as one of the top multi sport athletes in Clark County. The only 1A athlete in the group.

Parker was a 1st team all league point guard for the Cougars, helping Seton to it’s most successful season ever in boys basketball and 1 point away from a birth in the state regional playoffs. Parker was also an all league shortstop for 4A Mt. View Baseball. All of this while maintaining a 3.75 GPA at Seton. For any incoming freshman athletes Isaiah recommends ” make sure you manage your time, stay on top of your homework. ” Parker is proof that you don’t have specialize in one sport to get recognized, nor do your grades need to suffer while being an accomplished athlete!

Parker is looking forward to his senior year. His summer will be full of tournament baseball with hopes of securing a baseball scholarship to a Division 1 school. Parker has already received quite a bit of attention from colleges for baseball. For the upcoming year he’s hoping to make another run in basketball but this time get out of districts and on to state!

Congrats Isaiah! We are proud of you!
