Cougars News · League Play begins this Week and the Cougs Will Be Tested!

The Seton Catholic Football Team will begin their official league play this Saturday when Stevenson comes to town in an all important Tri Co League game! This will be the first League game the Cougs have played in a couple of years as last year Seton played an independent schedule. The Bulldogs of Stevenson will be a tough opponent and definitely the best team we’ve played thus far says Coach Ephraim. Ephraim says Stevenson will be very physical, athletic, and will look to throw the ball against us as they did last year.

Ephraim feels good about where his team is right now. The Cougs are healthy and their defense has been flying around the field. Scoring as many as 66 against an opponent this year our offense has potential to be explosive as well.

Football is not the only team opening league play this week as both girls Soccer and Volleyball begin their Tri Co League campaign. Seton Soccer will take on the always tough La Center girls Tuesday at 5pm here at Seton Catholic! Volleyball will travel to La Center Tuesday to take on the very strong Wildcats. JV at 5:30pm, Varsity 7pm.

Football will host Stevenson at 1pm Saturday!

Hope to see you at the gym or on the field!

Go Cougs!
