Cougars News · Seton’s Sean Ball and Isaiah Parker Sign Letters Of Intent

Only 7% of all high school athletes will go on to compete in varsity sports in college. Less than 2% will go on to play at the Division I level.

Today two of the best athletes to wear the Seton Catholic uniform signed letters to play at their respective colleges. Seniors Isaiah Parker and Sean Ball will be taking their talents to the next level next year as they compete in their respective sports.

Sean Ball  signed with Saint Martins on a golf scholarship. Ball is the reigning District 4 champion, and was the District 4 player of the year. Ball is a scratch golfer which places him in the top 1.6 percent of all golfers playing the game. Ball will study communications at Saint Martins while playing on the varsity golf team for the Saints!

Isaiah Parker was looking for a little more sun when he chose Sacramento State as the school he’ll represent on the baseball field in college. Parker is a multi sport athlete with numerous accolades in basketball and baseball including 1st team all league selections and a state title in baseball for the 2017 season. Parker was recruited as an infielder and is going to a Division 1 school which only 2% of all high school athletes will compete at the D1 level. Isaiah, an honors student, plans on majoring in Engineering.

We are so proud of you Isaiah and Sean! You are outstanding representatives of our School and Community!
