Cougars News · Seton Catholic Boys Receive All League Recognition

Once again Seton Catholic Boys basketball has received the ultimate compliment. Recognition from the league’s opposing coaches as four of our players were voted as some of the top players in the Trico League.

Isaiah Parker, for the third straight year, was a unanimous 1st team all league selection . Parker was the first Seton Catholic player to receive 1st team all league ever as a sophomore. Since then he’s been a 1st team selection each year.

Junior shooting guard Gabe Anderson in his first year at Seton was also a unanimous 1st team all league selection. Anderson is only the 2nd player in Seton’s Tri Co league history to receive 1st team all league honors.

Junior forward Xavian Rushing received 2nd team honors in his first year at Seton Catholic and Junior forward Andy Olson  received honorable mention honors.

All four players along with the rest of the Seton Catholic Boys basketball team are not satisfied with their awards as they are looking to keep their season going. The Cougs travel to Issaquah High School this weekend where they will take on Bellevue Christian in the first round of the regional state playoffs. Game time is 12 o’clock noon on Saturday!

Congrats to our boys as you have represented our school and community so very well! Good Luck Saturday! We are so proud of you!
